Flowers for Susie

I set up Flowers for Susie in 2014 as a side hustle raising money for charity whilst I continued in my day job as a Lighting Designer.  In 2020 I decided to leave the corporate rat race and head out on my own to make this ‘side hustle’ my business.

I create Cards, Illustrations and Home Furnishing products inspired by mid-century pattern and colour.  This reflects a warm sense of nostalgia within a contemporary aesthetic.  I am captivated by repeat pattern and love to use repeat motifs and simple silhouettes to create unique and interesting designs. I’m driven by a desire to design contemporary, unique, products that brighten up our world and hopefully make you smile.

All my designs are created in my little studio by the sea.  Starting life as a lino print, they are digitised and coloured up to enable me to create the unique layered colour palettes and patterns you see on my designs.   

I make all my cards and small prints myself in my studio. Small UK factories make my A3 Giclee printed Illustrations & Home Furnishing products.
